When Your Cat Looks Suspiciously Like It’s Attempting Murder
Understanding what goes on in a cat’s mind is like trying to read ancient scrolls without the Rosetta Stone—mysterious, confusing, and sometimes terrifying. And the relationships between cats are even more puzzling.
Take this scene, for example. One cat is sprawled out, motionless, while the other stands over it like a fluffy villain in a film noir. Is this affection, a display of dominance, or a full-blown murder attempt? It’s hard to say. Is the cat underneath sleeping peacefully or has it quietly shuffled off this mortal coil? Tough to tell.
But what really seals the deal is the expression on the cat on top. Utterly suspicious, a face that says, “I’m up to no good, and I don’t care who knows it.” The furtive side-eye screams, “You saw nothing, human.”
