Martha found happiness

Living near the park became Martha’s daily therapy. Each morning, she walked its winding paths, breathing in the calm, watching squirrels dart between trees and birds soar overhead. The natural rhythm of life around her grounded her. “This is peace,” she thought, pausing to watch the sunlight dance on the pond’s surface.

She joined a local book club, made friends with neighbors, and rediscovered joy in community life. Little by little, she stitched together a new sense of belonging. The fear that once haunted her was now a distant echo. As she sat on a park bench smiling at strangers who soon became friends, Martha felt something she hadn’t in a long time—happiness.
