Standard Dachshund

Dachshunds might look like little hotdogs, but they were actually bred to be hunters—especially of small prey. Similar to Chihuahuas, they often make up for their small stature with a bold and spirited attitude.

As with some of the other breeds mentioned, rough play isn’t ideal for Dachshunds and generally isn’t well-received.
