Free Meals for Those in Need
In 2013, the Ansar Shopping Centre in Dubai launched an impressive initiative for people in need: individuals without financial means or employment have the opportunity to receive free food here. From delicious yogurt to crispy Arabic bread – a generous meal is offered to everyone during Ramadan.
Of course, there are a few isolated cases where people arrive in their fancy Mercedes and BMWs to claim the free food. But at its core, this campaign is extremely honorable. It supports people who, for various reasons, are unable to provide for themselves. We commend this ingenious idea and see it as an impressive manifestation of charity that should serve as a positive example for us all.
