Andrea Sawatzki really hit the big time in the entertainment industry back in 1997 with the movieThe Pharmacist, directed by Rainer Kaufmann. That role opened up tons of doors for her, and she later scored big in the crime seriesTatort (Crime Scene), as well as the comedy seriesFamilie Bundschuh (The Bundschuh Family), where she not only starred but also wrote the script.

Besides her acting gig, Sawatzki also lends her voice to audiobooks and writes books herself. She’s got two sons, Bruno and Moritz Berkel, with her partner and fellow actor Christian Berkel. They’ve been together since way back in 1998, and after all those years, they finally tied the knot in 2011. They’re celebrating their 21st anniversary this year, and here’s hoping their love story keeps going strong for many more years to come!
