Parrot Orders Items from Amazon
A parrot named Kiwi in London made headlines when her owner found several Amazon confirmations in her email. Upon checking the indoor cam, they saw Kiwi mimicking her owner’s “Alexa” voice commands. She had ordered a rubber duck, a pack of peanuts, and—oddly—some novelty socks.
The owner had previously joked about how much Kiwi loved to talk to Alexa, but never thought she’d trigger actual purchases. After changing the settings to require voice confirmation, Kiwi’s shopping spree was halted. But the bird now has her own Amazon wishlist, curated by fans.
