Dog Turns Off Vacuum Mid-Cleaning

A Golden Retriever in Arizona named Rusty grew tired of the robot vacuum constantly disturbing his naps. Security footage captured him walking up to the charging dock, pressing the “pause” button with his paw, and lying down directly in front of it—blocking it from continuing.

Rusty would repeat this every time it activated. Eventually, his owner realized the vacuum’s job was being overridden daily. After uploading the footage, comments poured in: “Rusty 1, Robots 0.” Some even suggested hiring him as a smart home consultant. The vacuum now only runs at night—on Rusty’s terms.
