Dog Sets Alarm Clock for Playtime

A Border Collie named Max in Sydney figured out how to set the alarm clock on his owner’s smart speaker. Surveillance footage shows Max pawing the device, nudging buttons until he accidentally set a daily 4 p.m. alarm. Oddly enough, that’s the exact time he’s usually taken to the park.

For days, the alarm rang right as Max sat by the door with a leash in his mouth. The timing was too perfect to ignore. Now the family leaves Alexa in “dog mode,” with a scheduled alarm labeled “Fetch O’Clock.” Max hasn’t missed a session since—and neither has his rapidly growing fanbase.
