Bracing for the Truth


The father sat down with his wife, knowing the conversation wouldn’t be easy. He explained everything—his doubts, their son’s dream, and the DNA test he’d ordered. “I had to,” he said. “Not because I want to prove you wrong—but because I need peace of mind.”

His wife looked stunned but not angry. She nodded slowly, taking in the gravity of the situation. “I understand,” she said. “I want the truth too—whatever it is.”
