29. Ray Parker Jr. Forklift Performance (1985)
Ray Parker Jr. performed the Ghostbusters theme from inside a levitating forklift truck while three actors in purple jumpsuits danced awkwardly with laser guns. Dom DeLuise appeared at the end dressed as the Phantom of the Opera to “banish” the ghosts.
The bizarre staging and props made the musical number one of the most surreal and awkward performances ever.
