Looking at this design, someone might assume it’s simpler compared to the more complex images in this article. However, that assumption would be incorrect. Just because something looks simple and requires fewer colors doesn’t mean there wasn’t effort involved. A trained eye will be able to recognize the clean and orderly lines, as well as the smooth curves of this design.

It appears as if this woman was initially painted entirely in black, and the pattern was created by removing the paint from her skin to allow her natural complexion to shine through. Her natural beige skin tone provides a contrast to the black paint.
