Something’s Up with Christoph Waltz’s Walk
German-Austrian actor Christoph Waltz has become unmistakably established in Hollywood since his debut as Hans Landa in Quentin Tarantino’s “Inglourious Basterds.” Waltz is known for his unique and incredibly talented acting style. He can be witty, serious, dramatic, and often mysterious – and that seems to apply to his private life as well, as he demonstrated at the 2018 Cannes Film Festival.
Throughout his walk down the red carpet at the event, Waltz walked with a strange limp. So far, it is unclear whether the limp was real or whether he was simply playing a joke on us all. At one point, the actor even stared directly into the cameras, almost as if he was challenging viewers to guess whether he was just faking it. To this day, we don’t know!
