#28: Frozen Fish from China
When buying frozen fish, it’s best to avoid imports from China. Many are raised in filthy, crowded conditions that harm both fish and people. These fish often eat pig or goose waste instead of proper feed.
They’re also exposed to antibiotics, antimicrobials, lead, and mercury. These substances build up in the fish and pose serious health risks. Though exotic varieties may seem tempting, the dangers outweigh the appeal.
