Andrea Sawatzki really hit the big time in the entertainment biz back in ’97 with the flick Die Apothekerin, directed by Rainer Kaufmann. That role totally opened doors for her, and she later killed it in the crime series Tatort and the comedy series Familie Bundschuh – she not only starred in it but also wrote the scripts.

Besides her acting career, Sawatzki’s also busy as an audiobook narrator and author. She’s got two sons, Bruno and Moritz Berkel, with her partner and fellow actor, Christian Berkel. These two have been together since ’98, and after all those years, they finally decided to tie the knot in 2011. They’re hitting their 21st anniversary this year, and you just know their love story’s gonna keep on going for years to come.
