Nicolas Cage & Riko Shibata
Nicolas Cage couldn’t be happier – his marriage to Riko Shibata fills him with joy. Things got especially exciting for the couple when it was announced in January 2022 that they were expecting a child, just a few months after their wedding.
The two met in Japan through mutual acquaintances. Their relationship gained momentum when Cage accompanied her on a trip in 2020 to a tomb he had purchased for himself ten years prior. The couple made their first public appearance in July 2021 when they attended the premiere of his film Pig together. Shortly thereafter, Shibata graced the cover of Flaunt Magazine. Cage later shared that he proposed to her while they were in a long-distance relationship and hadn’t seen each other for six months. They had planned a wedding in Kyoto, but ultimately opted for a ceremony at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas on February 16, 2021.
