We’ve all seen it—the couple at the bow trying to recreate Jack and Rose’s “I’m flying” moment. It’s iconic in film, but less so in real life. Cruise ships usually block off the bow for safety reasons, and even if they don’t, the wind and noise kill the romance.

Still, no harm in trying. Just don’t expect cinematic magic. You’ll likely just end up squinting into the wind and holding on for dear life.
