You Probably Won’t Get to Meet the Captain
You may have imagined the captain shaking hands at dinner or posing for photos with a warm smile. In reality, the person steering the ship is mostly behind the scenes—navigating, monitoring the weather, and generally making sure the vessel doesn’t run into an iceberg.
If you don’t see them, that’s actually a good sign. It means they’re doing their job. And frankly, you’d probably worry more if the captain was spending more time at the buffet than on the bridge.
