Basilica of Saint Francis of Assisi

Hey everyone, this is the Basilica of Saint Francis in Assisi. This photo, taken by drone, captures the complex that has stood on this land for centuries. Research indicates that construction began in 1228. It consists of two churches, and the crypt houses the remains of Saint Francis. The entire complex was designated a UNESCO World Heritage site in 2000.
