Unexpected photos taken from a drone

This photo, snapped from a drone soaring over Edinburgh, Scotland, shows the statue known as “Gentle Giant Gulliver.” What makes this piece even wilder is that it was created by Jimmy Boyle, who was convicted of murder while locked up in Barlinnie Prison in Glasgow. This mix of art and a criminal past gives the sculpture a fascinating story, making it a compelling thing to look at and think about.

It was put up back in 1976 and had its big unveiling ceremony then. Over the years, it started getting a bit wobbly, and the local council decided to take it down in 2011 ’cause the government wanted to put in a flood prevention system. Even though it’s gone, it’s still kicking around online today.
