36. God told my husband’s aunt not to come.
We received her RSVP with a nice handwritten note saying that Aunt Grace prayed about it and God told her not to come.
We had a non religious wedding in the mid Atlantic US. I guess we weren’t religious enough for her? The rest of my husband’s southern family came and celebrated, so idk.
