25. The Moose That Trampled a Snowman—Twice
In Alaska, kids built a giant snowman shaped like a hunter to celebrate the season. Unfortunately, a passing moose seemed offended. It charged through the yard and stomped the snow figure into mush. Thinking it was a fluke, the kids rebuilt it—only for the moose to return and destroy it again.
Some believe the antlered vandal mistook the snowman for a threat. Others say it was just pure spite. The incident earned the moose local fame and sparked an annual “Moose vs. Snowman” event—complete with rebuilding competitions and safe observation areas.
