During Halloween, some theme parks hire actors to hide behind tombstones and scream at guests. These professional scarers often lie in mud, jump out of fake graves, and growl like zombies to freak people out for eight hours straight.
It’s fun for the first hour. Then it’s just cold, sore, and awkward when someone punches you out of reflex. With a 50/50 chance of either terrifying someone or being reported to security, the cemetery screamer’s life is both weird and wildly unpredictable.
