Stork’s Nest

This beautiful photo of a stork’s nest was taken in Poland by photographer Szymon Pawlak. Pawlak had the idea to photograph a stork’s nest in 2013, but it wasn’t finally completed until two years later in 2015. He experimented with various shooting methods, and this photo is believed to have been taken using a drone.

Storks are large birds with long legs and strong beaks. They live in dry areas and eat fish, insects, frogs, and small birds. Storks build large nests commensurate with their size and may continue to use them for many years. The stork’s nest itself is just as interesting as the storks themselves.
