That Day’s Catch
Hammerhead sharks, a globally recognized species of shark, inhabit coastlines in warm seas. They occasionally come into contact with humans and have a reputation for being quite aggressive. They often attack what they perceive as a threat.
This drone-captured photo, taken at a beach in Panama City, Florida, captures a moment where a woman is dangerously close to a hammerhead shark, completely unaware of its presence. It’s not hard to imagine the sheer terror the woman must have felt as she saw the shark getting closer and closer. It’s also easy to imagine how worried the surrounding bystanders were about the situation.
