Kandinsky Bridge (Russia)
The Kandinsky Bridge spans the Vitim River in the Zabaykalsky Krai of Siberia, Russia. This bridge, far from being safe, is considered one of the most dangerous bridges in the world. Originally built for railway use, it’s now been repurposed for cars and motorcycles since a new railway bridge opened next to it. Although reinforced with planks, there’s no telling when they might give way, making it a truly thrilling experience.
By the way, it hasn’t undergone any major repairs for about 30 years, so the wood is rotting in places… Therefore, if you want to cross it, you have no choice but to repair it yourself as you go. However, it’s strange that there haven’t been any reports of major accidents such as falling off the bridge. One theory is that it’s because very few people are brave enough to cross it. If you want to experience the thrill of a lifetime, why not give it a try?
