Mekong River Crossing (China)

It’s safe to say that everyone loves a good challenge. When you think about it, it makes perfect sense why so many people use their credit card points to travel the world and see tourist attractions, some of which happened to have bridges or mountain trails. However, this bridge isn’t open to the public and is just there for fishermen to use.

The Mekong River, the 12th longest river in the world, runs through countries like Thailand, Myanmar, and Cambodia. While there are various ways to cross this river, one fisherman used his own homemade method. Samnieng used a bridge made of two high wires, supporting himself with his hands and feet, and only a harness to keep him safe.
