Millau Viaduct (France)
Things aren’t always what they seem. This is a common phenomenon when stargazing, where we use our imaginations to connect the stars and create pictures. However, it can also happen in unexpected places, like when you’re looking at a bridge.
The Millau Viaduct in France looking like a yacht sailing through the sky is somewhat fitting. Standing at 343 meters, the Millau Viaduct is taller than France’s iconic Eiffel Tower. It’s also 2,460 meters long, offering quite a view for those driving across. With the bridge and its surroundings being so beautiful, it’s no wonder that it has become a tourist attraction, featuring restaurants and observation areas. Goes to show that anything can be a work of art if you put your mind to it.
