Skedoodle
Skedoodle, a joystick-controlled drawing toy similar to an Etch-a-Sketch, was difficult to operate and produced unsettling buzzing noises. Its erratic internal mechanics made it frustrating for kids to draw anything recognizable.
Often, the toy’s sudden jerks and noises gave an eerie sensation, as if it had a mind of its own. Skedoodle’s awkward design and creepy sound effects made it less of a fun art toy and more of a weird mechanical enigma.
