Basenji


Basenjis are natural-born hunters known for their intelligence and independent spirit. They show deep affection for their owners but tend to be wary or aloof with strangers. Their stubbornness can make training a challenge, and they’re not as easy to domesticate as some other breeds.

This stubbornness can also affect their interactions with children, especially if they haven’t been socialized from a young age. Without consistent training and supervision, they may not be the best companions for toddlers.
