No Emails on Wednesdays

An Indian tech company implemented a rule banning emails every Wednesday—dubbed “Face-to-Face Day.” Communication must happen via in-person chats, calls, or handwritten notes (yes, really). If it can’t wait, it’s probably not worth it.

This analog throwback was meant to reduce digital fatigue and miscommunication, and it’s done just that. Teams talk more, understand each other better, and solve problems faster. Some even say they dread Thursday because Wednesday conversations are just… nicer. Who knew handwriting could be revolutionary?
