Affenpinschers, also known as Monkey Terriers, are known for their high energy and playful, mischievous nature. Because they’re so small, little kids might mistake them for toys and be too rough, forgetting they’re actually living animals.

This can stress the dog out, and if they get anxious or overwhelmed, the Affenpinscher might react aggressively – which isn’t a great match for the unpredictable behavior of kids.
