Andreas Scheuer has been a member of the German Bundestag for 20 years. He was the Federal Minister of Transport and Digital Infrastructure in the Merkel IV cabinet for three years and is currently the District Chairman of the CSU Lower Bavaria. Prior to that, he served as Parliamentary State Secretary to the Federal Minister of Transport, Building and Urban Development from 2009 to 2013, and as Secretary General of the CSU from 2013 to 2018.

On the personal front, Scheuer had two marriages that didn’t work out and ultimately needed legal help to finalize the divorces. His first marriage ended in 2011, and the second lasted only five years. However, in 2021, he found love again when he met Julia Reuss, and they tied the knot the same year.
